Jarin Cobbin born on November 21, 1977 in Arlington Heights, IL, a suburb of Chicago, IL, is a singer, actor and dancer. Jarin spent a large portion of his younger life moving around from different cities and states with his parents, such as California, Michigan, Texas, Ohio and now presently living in Atlanta, GA. His experiences in different parts of the country have allowed him to develop as a person, as well as a performer.
Jarin started singing at the tender age of 7 and acting at the age of 13 in church and school plays. One of his major parts in a high school play was the Tin-Man in the “Wizard of Oz.” The extraordinary performer, singer and dancer, Michael Jackson, has played a huge part in Jarin’s ability and inspiration to be an entertainer. He has also been inspired and motivated by the Gospel anointing music of Marvin Sapp.
Jarin is a much sought after young man with strong, appealing stage presence and a triple threat with his variety of experience in singing, acting and dancing. That includes: toured nationally with the hit play, Tell Hell I Ain’t Comin’ with an acting and singing role. He has played Jackie Wilson and many other characters in a musical entitled, “Love Street Corner Harmony.” He has also been the opening act for Mary J. Blige, & LL Cool J. Jarin has received many requests to sing at private parties, as well as birthday engagements for NBA players.
Aside from pursuing his music and acting career he has a BA in Communications and is currently working with children and pursuing his many dreams in life.
Jarin is a self motivated, strong willed, exciting individual that loves what he does and does it well.
